Sunday brunch, part fourteen

I have a bad habit of not taking a lot of pictures when the Bickels host brunch. It's as if, along with prepping the house, food, drinks, and such, I also think Sara needs the additional work of taking pictures. It's lame so I will make the promise now to try and do better. The Bickels put together an outstanding array of food for us - crab eggs Benedict, real and faux bacon, gluten-free bread, gluten-free brownies, juice, home-brewed beer (who says you can't have beer at brunch?), and along with that we had fruit salad and a potato, leek, and salmon dish. Yum. Yum. Yum. The food was great, the kids had a blast, and, well, I got to have beer with brunch. What more can I say?

Turkey bacon is not faux bacon, it's just not pig bacon!
