Darr wants to ski two days in a row this weekend. To agree to this I gave him a list of things to accomplish that includes grocery shopping and returning books to the library. It also means he'll be on kid-duty when he returns so I can (hopefully) finish my latest knitting project. I think that's fair.
Also, today Hen and I played with his "little Legos" (meaning not the Duplo sets) and made one gigantic monster and one very cool monster sidekick alien dog-type thing. Hen is funny when involved in this kind of play. While he can't always verbalize what he does want, he definitely knows exactly what he does not want and he can tell you about that, loudly.
