Macro lens

While out strolling around the neighborhood with Hen today I played with Cosette. This is easier to do than you might think because Hen stops all the time to look at worms, leaves, dirt, concrete, and whatever else catches his fancy. I don't have a macro lens but I learned how to use my lens to make one on the fly - to do that you basically flip your lens around and hold it in place. To get things in focus you move your body closer to or further away from the object that you're shooting. I forgot to set the ISO (whoops) but I had my shutter speed at 1/80 (anything slower and it gets significantly more blurry) and the aperture was opened up wide (at f/1.4).
