Sure it's eclectic and weird, but when I look at it I know that the bear fabric and the lining were used in these pants I made for Hen*, and the long side panel flower fabric and the brown corduroy were made into double-sided ties (for Hen and a couple that were given as gifts), the car fabric became a snack pouch, and the green flannel was the main color of his squid costume. There's a bit of sentimental scrapcycling† going on over here.
*Hen explained a few weeks ago that his P.E. teacher didn't want him to wear these pants on gym days because the leg pocket was distracting. He'd spend his time filling the pocket with rocks and other bits of nature instead of participating. Silly kid.
†Like recycling but done using scraps of fabric from other projects.
