A Spring Day Story

My mama said the weather was so nice we had to go outside so we did. We went all the way down to the town and I got to visit the world's smallest park. It is called Mill Ends Park. And it is famous because it is teeny tiny and in the middle of the road.

I was super excited and can fly. Do you see? This is not the only time I flied during the day because I was super excited and got to play Frisbee. And it rolled to the water but it didn't go in.

I was smooshing my cheeks because my mama said I had to wait to eat the elephant ear until she took a picture. An elephant ear is a flat donut with lots of cinnamon and is spicy but really, really good.

We saw these spinning things that spin but I couldn't touch them because they are glass and high up in the air.

We played jail near the pretty trees and the rocks. I love playing jail! My mama was the bad guy in the jail and I gave her water. Sometimes people in jail are thirsty.

Don't worry. It doesn't hurt.

When we were walking back to the car there was a guy playing with sticks and buckets and making lots of noise so I danced and put money in a bucket because it is nice to do that, my mama says.

A cab driver in Vegas told me that Portland has the world's smallest park. I always meant to look up where it was so I could visit it. Now I know!

Great pictures, as always.

Megan - Wikipedia has information about the park. It is in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the smallest park in the world. And it is right here in our hometown!

Mama Flurfel - Thank you! We rather enjoy the little bean.
