Arrived

We could not have asked for a better plane ride down to So. Cal. Henry was a dream. We are traveling with a car seat for the first time and I'm very pleased with the results as he settled right into his seat, once Darr managed to get the seat belt threaded through the back and secured, and remained there quietly the entire trip, even through the bit of turbulence we hit before landing. I'm sure the Monsters Inc. on the iPod, which I let him hold all by himself, helped a bit. He munched through one and a half bags of the airplane snack and drank about half a cup of watered down apple juice. He also feasted on our homemade GORP that was sadly lacking both raisins and peanuts but did include dried apricots, cherries, almonds, pine nuts, and about five M&Ms I stashed in there when Hen wasn't paying attention. He even successfully used the bathroom twice!

The only hiccup I can think of concerns the tip we gave the driver of the shuttle we used. It says - quite clearly - on the shuttle's web site that gratuity is not included and is usually 20% but we paid for a round trip ride up front so do you give the driver a tip for what half the cost would be since he hasn't completed the service yet? Or do you tip two drivers (the one picking you up from the airport and the one returning you to the airport in a few days) each 20% of the total cost? What say you, Internet?
