Henry: Nope.
Me: Are you sure?
Henry: Yep! It wasn't me.
Me: Did they jump out of the closet onto your bed?
Henry: Yeah.
Of course, a discussion about the importance of telling the truth followed - I'm fairly confident the Beanie Babies did not jump out of the closet onto his bed. It took us awhile to get there but he eventually admitted he did go into the closet and stack the toys on his bed. For telling the truth, he got a hug from his mama and I let him open up one of the many Teanie Beanie Babies he had found. I'm a big old softie that way.

I wouldn't really say softy . . . the next time he lies he'll think of this and tell the truth! Thanks for the story hopefully I'll remember it when Cameron tells his first lie! And Oaks Park toddler day would be fun, I'll let ya know when we're around again.
