Our MLK day

Hen and I had a chat about Martin Luther King but as he's four this didn't last long and I'm not quite sure he understood any of it beyond that Martin Luther King was a person who once lived on the planet. We watched an episode of Curious George, played Legos, ran around outside with the dog - this also didn't last long 'cuz BRRRRRRR!, and came inside to play sea creatures. How is it that a day of basically all play goes by so quickly? It only took three books and the kid was out. I'll have a few hours to work on the first of this year's Pay It Forward projects before bedtime. Nice.

I've been reading "Nurture Shock" and they have a reaaaalllly interesting chapter on racial issues and kids. Gave me pause.
What project are you working on?

I read that last year. I can't really remember what the race chapter was about though.

It's a paper project but I don't want to say more until I post about it when it is done and delivered to the person.
