Dear Henry and mornings

Part of our morning routine includes me narrating the letter I'm fake writing on Hen's back to wake Hen up. This morning it went like this…

Me, writing the fake letter on his back with my index finger: Dear Henry, It is time to wake up for school. I have a very cool video of elephants to show you when you come into the kitchen. Love, Mama.

To which he sleepily replied while writing a fake letter on my shoulder.

Hen: Dear Mama, Elephants are not cool animals to me. Love, Henry.

The later explanation as to why elephants are not worthy of the cool description: All they do is walk around and push stuff over with their trunks. That's boring.

Oh well. I shared the clip with him anyway.
