Seattle, day two

It totally feels like you're driving into a regular neighborhood and then, BLAM!, there's the zoo. I wonder if nearby residents can hear the animals?

We were very excited to see the flamingos. Hen happily shared the information that flamingos are pink because of all the shrimp they eat with everyone in the vicinity.

At Tutta Bella they gave the kids Wikki Stix, a most excellent distraction until the food hit the table.

Two pizzas, two root beers, and two scoops of ice cream for under $40.
